Winfrid Rauch has written his Doktorarbeit (PhD) at the TU Darmstadt concerning the R&D field: “Dry sorting process models of paper/cardboard collections starting from plant managers’ experience”.
Sorting systems must be adapted to input qualities such as:
- Number of impurities in the input
- Particle size stastistics
- Moisture degree
- Packaging of the products (compressed items, baled, in Bags/ super sacks etc.)
